Re: How do you improve your technical writing skills?
1>How do you improve your technical writing skills?
What kind of improvements are you looking for? There are as many shades of tech writing skills as there are tech writers out there. Someone who writes manuals may have never seen or heard of an SDK. I have a distant cousin who is a tech writer, yet can barely operate more than the minimum software that he uses. Does this make him a poor tech writer? No, he is an expert in his field that has nothing to do with computers.
2>Are there any free tutorials available on the
internet?
Lots and lots and lots, but you need to decide what skills you want to develop. Search for a while on google, and check out www.w3schools.com
