::: >> What would a 1-page MIF file demonstrate?
:::
::: It would demonstrate how easy (or difficult) it is to write
::: within the
::: single-source discipline.
Are you kidding? A 1-page MIF won't show you anything. A 100 page MIF
will show you a bunch of stuff, but none if ot will really mean anything
in and of itself.
::: >> Why would you try to [thread together pedagogical

::: Pedagogical, procedural, and

::: mind about
::: >> separate text blocks. I don't see a connection to single
::: sourcing here.
:::
::: Because I'm trying to save effort; isn't that the idea?
If you have information that is entirely unrelated, that won't be used
together (or will in a very minimal capacity), how are you saving affort
by trying to single-source it? Your content would have minimal
"overlap", and therefore would cause the single-source effort to fail
(or at least be minimally effective).
