Re: distiller/fonts
Well, Times-Roman is specified for _something_ in the System_Overview.ps
file that Distiller is trying to distill -- and, apparently, you don't have
that font installed. If you're _certain_ that the font's not being used in
FrameMaker, perhaps it's in an imported graphic.
Simple solution? Buy and install the Times font family (better yet, Adobe's
"Type Basics" package, which includes Times and the other "standard 35"
PostScript fonts).
Careful with that! Times New Roman, Times Roman, Times, Times-Roman are all different fonts. They look the same, of course, but if the names differ by even a hyphen, Distiller won't recognize them as being the same. I'm sure Jennifer already has one or more versions on her system without going out and purchasing any. In fact, Distiller brings along its own.
What is going on here is more subtle. I suspect there is a graphic somewhere part or all of which was prepared on a Mac. Sometimes it's hard to eliminate all the hidden font references buried in an EPS, despite the best of intentions.
In Distiller, look at Settings > Font Locations and ensure that you have listed all the various folders on your system that contain font files, either Type 1 or TrueType.
Look at the properties for the Distiller Printer (Start > Settings > Printers) and ensure that your font substitution settings are not interfering. You may have to experiment a bit.
If you still have problems, let us know what version of Distiller you are running (Help > About). Give the decimal number below the nameplate. Also tell us what operating system, etc., and anything you know about the sources of the graphics.
