Well, let's separate the difference between "design" Bruce and "font
fondling." When I say "font fondling" I am referring to the tendency
of some writers to sink the majority of their efforts in to look and feel aspects
of documents to the detriment of content.
There is nothing wrong with doing a little design work here and there to help the
docs look nicer - but its not something that requires a great deal of effort. At
least not in comparison to content issues.
