No. In fact, I am working on a book about the history of American Motorcycles
- most of which I have never seen. I can do this and I do not know much about
the engine designs some manufacturers have used in the past.
But to write about the inner workings of the transmission, how the computer
systems work, the engineeering behind the car, YES. You would need some prior
knowledge. Can you learm? Yes. Will Ford give you the time to learn? NO.
Would Ford hire you to write documents if you told them you did not
understand cars? NO.
