RE: How often is your resume read on job boards?
Is it necessary to change a word in your monster.com resume every so
often to make the resume more visible?
Can somebody tell how these are presented to potential employers such
that such a technique might work.
I don't know how monster works, but dice sends out your resume when you do a new version. I find that if I delete the old on Sunday afternoon and re-post before I go to bed, I get a follow-up e-mail from dice that at some time after midnight they sent out my resume to X number of recruiters. I figure a Monday morning reminder is good given the short attention spans of recruiters.

Who says bad manuals aren't a risk to your life? Just ask the passengers of the jet where the engine caught fire because the company's maintenance manual was wrong about how to install one key bolt.
