Ya know, it seems to me that every writer feels this way. Even famous
authors often comment about how they'd revise their best-selling works if
they had the opportunity.
My biggest challenge with one writer is to get her to stop making changes
and just finish the % -at- #*$*#& thing. Unless specifically told to stop, she
will continue to edit and perfect indefinitely. I have to practically bop
her over the head.
Truthfully, though, I fight the same urge. There comes a point in every
project when I just have to draw the line and say 'This is good.' I'll
probably never say, 'This is perfect.'
