Subject:Can you teach someone how to learn? From:"Genevieve Roberts" <gen -at- qrtz -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 9 Oct 2002 12:47:39 -0700
I did my MA Communication thesis on Learning Organizations. The theory of
these is that you can teach individuals within the organization how to learn
in such a way as to share the knowledge with the others that constitute the
organization, thus "teaching", and re-shaping, the org itself. The theory is
based on teaching adults a new way to learn. If you can teach adults to
learn a new way to better actualize their roles within their organizations,
I don't see why, given enough time, grant money, and coffee, you couldn't
teach them a better way to learn your software.
