Has anyone else heard about this new product from Microsoft, to be
released next year?

Interesting that you would ask, as Woody's Office Watch (www.woodyswatch.com) had an article about Xdocs today. In part, he said:

The next version of Office - Office 11 - beta test version is on its way to a very small group of insiders, knocked out of the nest by no less a personage than Steve Ballmer himself. The Microsoft marketing marvel is churning at warp speed, and the product they're pushing is... wait for it...XML!

...When you're hearing all the breathless XDoc hype from Microsoft remember that XDocs has a long history but still no real place...Most important, it'll be a first version from Microsoft and therefore probably not worth spending a dime on. Unless you like spending money on vague promises ...

I think I will wait until version 2.0.
