Who IS this fabled editor/proofreader?
I've been a technical writer for maybe 10 years. I've been at major players
in their field...Ernst&Young, AT&T, Bellcore, Western Union, Merck Pharms,
Avaya Comm, here at B&N...
I've never, not once, ever had an editor for proofing/editing my stuff. I
wouldn't know one if it dropped from the ceiling and landed on my lap.
In every case...I write, a manager or peer reads it...maybe, done. Next
document.
Where do I GET one of those guys?
