My dream job has always been to be a full-time
freelance writer. I really enjoy learning new things
-- engrossing myself within new subject matter and
learning just enough to come out of the mess and
communicate what I've learned. That's what I do best,
and that's what makes me an excellent technical
writer. The only thing deterring me is the low pay
(damn the Internet!), but at least it's something I
can pursue in my free time (well, maybe).
I also find technology increasingly interesting, and
may try to wiggle my way back into the brokerage
industry some day and seek out a position as a
business analyst, and eventually as a systems analyst.
An MIS would help, I suppose, but I really don't want
to take a bunch of prerequisites that would include
calculus (damn my liberal arts degree!).
So many interests, so little time!
