No, the *correct* thing to do is to cheer loudly and
to ratchet up the counter on behalf of one more
successful and very, very well-deserved self-extraction
from the gene pool. Next! Step up. Two towels. No waiting.

But then, I'm not one of those who "deplore" the
Darwin awards. I greet them with some relief.
I do, of course, wish that they'd clean them up
and publish only new ones each year.
