I tried this once. The formatting of the doc (in FM) had sideheads, and was
full of bulletted lists. Using the same symbol became extremely confusing,
especially when the list wrapped to a new page - the text was already
indented, but all the white space invalidated the distinction since the
relationship between the levels was lost upon wrapping.

I wouldn't never suggest that you use the same symbol - it helps to make
them similar (triangles, diamonds, and arrows, for example), but definitely
not the same!
