Just a side note to the discussion. But how soon is it going to be until
Illustrator and Photoshop are interchangeable? Looking at the lists of features
and capabilities, the two are resembling each other more and more.
Illustrator is being given more and more raster functionality and Photoshop is
being given more and more vector capabilities. I think I even read about one
being able to work with the files of the other directly.
