Thanks a million to all of you who (quickly!) responded to my question. I did a little testing, and opening the PDF file and exporting to an eps file is going to do the trick. Still needs a little tweaking (because there are images within images!) but, for the most part, the resulting image is very nice and sharp. I learn something new every day from you guys! Thank you for taking the time out to answer.

...Some background...I create the forms in Word 2000 and then create a PDF of each using Acrobat 4.0. A graphic designer scans the PDF and saves the image as a 'tif' file. I insert the tif into my Word (2000) document (the manual). I can read the form (when the final manual is PDF'd), but it's just not the quality I'd like.
