I'm the reverse -- I'm a tech writer that expanded into Web programming 4 yrs
ago. It's been a pretty successful move. Customers seem to like that I can a)
write the content b) develop a Web site (including graphics) to store the content
and c) maintain the content.
I think they really like the ease of proofreading on their end -- I send them a
URL and they view or print it as they wish, when they wish. It's a low-tech
approach to publishing with a high-tech look and feel.
