TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
The archives gave me different software to have a look at, but there was no
recent summary comparing what I felt where the most commonly recommended
software.
We are looking at using tutorials of our software for a marketing tools,
initially anyway, that would be available on the web. I have narrowed the
field to these three applications, but would accept suggestions of others.
I am also interested in feedback on RoboHelp Demo. I have no input on the
usability or functionality of this product. Since we currently use RoboHelp
Office 2000 to build Web Help files I thought it might be easier for me to
learn. http://www.ehelp.com/products/robodemo/
