Hello, my name is Earl, and I'm a COBOLer. Today marks eight thousand,
four hundred days since the last time I wrote a line of COBOL. It
is a day to day struggle even now, when we are safely past the great
temptation of the Y2K COBOL hiring frenzy. I am not entirely free of
sin, however, since I dabble in PHP programming. I rationalize it as
a way to keep my skills up to date, but it's the same old temptation,
to bend computers to my will, that all may fear and tremble at my
power as a member of the Computer Priesthood. (hangs head in shame)
