Click on the binoculars in the Acrobat plug-in.  Ctrl+F invokes the browser's "find" feature, which almost certainly won't find what you're looking for.

I haven't tested it, but supposedly like this:

  <a href="http://path/filename.pdf#bookmark";>...</a>
