Wow, Thanks David. I knew that I had been able to make a PDF earlier, and then when it failed, I thought I must have been dreaming. I was making the error of choosing the PDFWriter when attempting to create the .PS file. d'uh. Thanks a million.

I am surprised you can't save as PDF from Visio. If you have Acrobat
installed AND a postscript printer instance installed, it should work. Try
printing the VISIO file to a postscript file (you could use the Acrobat
Distiller print driver). Then you can distill the postscript to a PDF.
