I am a huge proponent of SnagIt (not because it is the best, but because I
am familiar with it). Therefore I whole-heartedly agree with Bonnie.

I also have to take hundreds of screen shots in five languages (seven, if I
can convince our company to translate the software for the Cajun and
Appalachain markets) and use SnagIt's auto-numbering.

ONE IMPORTANT NOTE - For your own peace of mind, change the output folder
for each language. I forgot to do that....once. Every try to figure out
which single screen shot you needed out of 600 like-named shots? <shudder>.
The litte bit of extra time up front will be repaid multi-fold at the end.

You may even want to take screen shots based on function (or grouping) and
change the output for each.

Just my 2¢
