Subject:Link from UI element to destination in PDF? From:Salan Sinclair <salansinclair -at- shaw -dot- ca> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 22 Nov 2002 13:48:22 -0800
Can you link from a UI element to a destination in a PDF?
In the archives, it said you can link from HTML to a PDF destination. But
I'm not sure if this would work with a user interface.
I know it's not an ideal scenario. But I'm evaluating various ways of
providing "help" for a small UI screen.
The application requires a large guide in print form, with a small section
dedicated to the GUI. My client wants to know if we can create a PDF and
then just link from the UI to sections of the PDF.
