Subject:RE: Printing a booklet with Word 2002 From:David Neeley <dbneeley -at- yahoo -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Sat, 23 Nov 2002 14:42:51 -0800 (PST)
Sorry if this is late, but...
In addition to Quite Imposing there has long been a printer
driver called "ClickBook Pro" that can create booklets
among other things directly from the "Print" command in
Word. No juggling pages around--simply set it for the
result you want and out comes the properly imposed pages.
Of course, you'd still be left with the second page feed
problem, but at least the resulting pages would be in the
proper order.
Version 5.0 is $49.95 from www.bluesquirrel.com; they have
a free demo download.
I've never used Quite Imposing, but it's roughly four times
more expensive than ClickBook Pro...and unless you do a
great deal of your own imposition work, it would be
difficult to justify.
The usual disclaimer applies--I have no interest, financial
or otherwise, in either program.
David
