RE: Description of Tech Writers

"I'm a writer living in Minneapolis."

That means I live a painfully neat stucco house on an elm-shaded street
in Nordeast Minneapolis. I write on a five-year-old PC running Windows
3.1, because it still works and why should I spend money I don't need
to? My black lab watches me with adoring eyes as I craft short stories
of growing up in a small town on the edge of the prairie, where the
women are strong, the men are good-looking, and all the children are
above-average. The stories aren't published, because there's this
odd-looking guy who already has a corner on this genre, but I persevere
in between making hotdish and going fishing up at the lake with my
husband.
