"I'm a technical writer in Toronto."
I live on a funky street in the Beaches/Danforth/Queen West/High
Park/Annex/Parkdale/Church&Wellesley, and am fiercely protective of my
neighbourhood's quirkiness, quality and safety, wear little glasses and too
much black, haunt alternative galleries and know all the baristas at all the
Starbucks, buy my music all at once at HMV on Boxing Day, disdain the Leafs
but love the Raptors. I once won first prize in a radio contest -- one week
in Toronto. Second prize was two weeks in Toronto... oh, yeah, I also help
people figure out how to use their computers.
I DO live off Danforth and wear little glasses, but soon need to upgrade to
bifocals.
