Depending on the content of the XML file you might possibly be able to do this XML-to-MIF conversion using tools like perl or other programming languages. For example, if your XML was something reasonably simple such as a directory or parts list, you could write scripts to convert the XML markup to "simplified" MIF. Or even convert it to MML (Maker Markup Language) and then open in FM.

Takes some reverse engineering, that's for sure, but it might be do-able.

I need to import an xml file to a FrameMaker doc. I want to convert the
xml to mif and then import the mif into my frame file.
