I also got an unsolicited interview offer in the last week. I have seen
several tech writing positions mentioned lately on a local email group that
I belong to as well. And, we are hiring two tech people (sorry, no tech
writers) in January.
This is not a plug for resumes or an offer of work, just supporting evidence
that maybe the market is turning around.
