Subject:tech writers cooking up the recipes... From:"Owen" <owenf -at- mighty -dot- co -dot- za> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Tue, 24 Dec 2002 08:03:16 -0000
thats soooo weird! i also thought it was just me. i love to cook!
maybe recipes are not only tech writing, but the Source of *all* tech
writing? i think its feasible; after all, humans and other life forms are
interested in food over pretty much everything else. Recipes are
traditionally shared and must therefore reach a wide audience and also be
easily translatable.
and recipes are very old. we certainly had recipes before computers...
...transistors...
...radio...
...electricity...
...formalised writing?
i guess it has to be off topic to some extent. thanks a stack for your
t-letter idea Tom, I am going to try a fresh start to employment seeking as
of now.
cheers
owen
