Re: Non Tech Writing Experience on Resume?
On the other hand, I have gotten a great deal of push-back on the t-letter,
I find the solution is simply to use both a T-letter and the resume, with a cover-letter to explain that the T-letter is included for the convenience of the employer. It seems to work better for me than just using a T-letter.
(I believe that Tom does mention this approach in his article)

"No person can achieve excellence in a popular genre without a rigorous and undeviating commitment to providing a personal best at all times. At the first moment of compromise - the first 'dumbing down' for "easier' or 'wider' acceptability, the first boilerplating for reasons of simple weariness or an overcommitted schedule - one simply falls into the abyss."
