Hi.

Resolution at time of capture is really unimportant. What is important
is that you capture all the pixels you need and color depth. If you need
a high resolution for an offset printing device, make the item you are
capturing as large as you can so that it comprises more pixels. This
would not be necessary for on-screen delivery.

What SnagIT's resolution setting is good for is providing a resolution
hint that your software (Word, FrameMaker) can use to appropriately size
the screen capture in the text column. That is, if most of your screen
captures fit best in your text column at 120 ppi, then set SnagIT to use
120 ppi as this will save you manually adjusting each and every image in
your document.

Cheers,

Sean

What is the best resolution setting in SnagIT to capture the whole
window
screen to get the clarity for the minutest data on the screen?
