If everything that is referenced is in a subdirectory, renaming the
parent directory should be straightforward and nothing gets broken. I
don't use OLE, though.
The easiest way to change massive numbers of paths, IMHO, is to save all
your FM/BOOK files as MIF, then use Funduc's Search and Replace to
replace the old path with the new one. Then, save all MIFs back as
FM/BOOK files.
Err . . . create a backup before you do it, though. Just in case. <g>

So...my question (about time, huh?)...What is the best way to change the
name of the working directory from BN, to eGate UNDER BN so that I can
create similar subdirectories for each of the other systems without
breaking
the hundreds of existing cross references and images imported by
reference
so far. I'm not to concerned about moving the directory under another
one...I'm more concerned about renaming the directory from BN to eGate.
