Peope are missing the point of John's posting. It was not IMNSHO
about the manner in which the coder expressed herself; it was about
the recognition that one can turn to the documentation team and
learn how to properly USE the documentation to address the problem.
If John's report had said
Well...she was thrilled! She returned to her cube and 5 minutes
later, a message posted a message to about a dozen different
parties telling them it was not her code, but the datafeed,
as documented at ...
we would not have focussed on (his paraphrase of) her self-expression.
