Ah, the wonderful ambiguity of language. Do you mean you are wondering:
1) How anyone could make a living doing that?
or
2) How anyone could possibly live with themselves for doing that kind of work?

Answer to 1) is that I'm not sure I am; it's difficult.
But many of you more conventional wrlers are in much the
same boat, I guess.
Answer to 2) is that ... well, you didn't really mean that,
did you? I hope.
