Actually--now that I think of it--there are management training books
that couch lessons in fiction. I went to a leadership seminar last
spring and received "Zapp! The Lightning of Empowerment," by William C.
Byham, Ph.D. I think that qualifies as technical fiction. I also read
another one, but the title and author's name escape me right now.
