Hello All,

I have recently been short-listed for a temporary junior TW position.
This is an entry level, low pay, 2-3 month spot, created in order to
help the seniors TWs complete a set of minor document and web site
updates.

Utilising very simple toolset like Word and Acrobat, user docs will be
made from scratch or (more likely) from templates, and then converted to
several formats for internal and web delivery.

The firm is prestigious in my local market, and this may be the break
into real Technical Writing that I've been driving towards for some
months now. I'm quite nervous.

I've done plenty of work very much like this on a volunteer basis for
local non-profits through the past year, but I'm definitely not a
"scorcher" on the keyboard. In your experience and opinion, is my paltry
40 wpm going to scotch my chances?

Regards,
Bil Gladstone
