Surely they're not going to give you a typing test... (are they?!)

Admittedly I've only been at this for five years or so, but in my
experience, nobody's ever asked me to take a typing test. Early on, I
think I even mentioned my 90 wpm typing speed to one or two people, and
they pretty much ignored it... as they should have. We're writers, not
typists.

I'd worry a little if your typing skills were so hunt-and-peck that you
lost your train of thought by the time you were halfway through typing a
sentence... but 40 wpm seems adequate.
