Yeah, that slogan is more a statement of philosophy rather than a boast. Interesting. Kinda like "it's all about the technology, baby"
Re slogans, I would probably respond well to something humorous, but only certain types. I can't imagine anyone taking that kind of a gamble. Maybe something like: "Primary Asset: The M&Ms jar on my desk is always full"
Probably not "have gun will travel"--that's guaranteed to scare someone, but a variation: "have compiler will travel", "have style guide will travel"
