Why?
I see it this way (and I'm placing this in the context of job interviewing):
You make what "should" be, an educated guess...we all do that all the
time...OK, I do it all the time. That decision is whatever based on facts I
believe in, even if it to pick the door on the left because my right foot
hurts (but they don't know that).
Now, someone comes along and confirms that a selection you DIDN'T make,
would truly have been a wrong choice. Good. However, with no additional
factors to consider, you're supposed to determine that your original facts
are wrong. To me, it only makes my original decision a little more solid.
Doesn't say much for the person's convictions, does it?
