Calling HTML Help Compiler in ComponentOne Doc-To-Help 6?
Subject:Calling HTML Help Compiler in ComponentOne Doc-To-Help 6? From:Derk Ederveen <derke -at- accountview -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 22 Jan 2003 15:32:25 +0100
We're evaluating the possibilities of a switch to ComponentOne Doc-To-Help
6. We need to do some customization of the intermediate html-files (between
generating those files and calling the HTML Help Compiler).
Problem is that D2H6 doesn't allow building a help file without
regenerating the html-files. When compilation (Make Target) is called from
D2H6, our customization is overwritten. When HHC.EXE is called separately
from the command line afterwards, our customization is there, but all extra
D2H6 functionality is gone: jumps, button texts, glossary popups, printing
of multiple topics, ...
Does anyone know:
- How to force D2H6 to compile only the CHM file
from the available HTML files?
- How to call the HTML Help Compiler separately,
without breaking the additional functionality?
- How to call a batch file or program from D2H6,
after HTML file generation and before help compilation?
Thanks for any hints, please reply to me directly (derke -at- accountview -dot- com),
I'll summarize to the list.
Derk Ederveen
