Thanks for the suggestion. A collection agency is probably the easiest way to go, although talking about going to court may provide more incentive for the client to pay.

I'm less sure about the paragraph about retaining copyright until payment has been made. That idea has been discussed on this list before, and the point has been made that it runs contrary to precedences about work for hire, and is unlikely to be accepted by clients. Still, you can always try.
