Greetings,
Is anyone a fan of using "they" as the gender neutral singular pronoun
of choice? For example:
"The first time a user accesses their account, they will have to enter
their e-mail address and give praise to tech writers everywhere."

Just when you though it was safe to look in your inbox!
Seriously, though, I don't use "their" or "they" as a singular pronoun. I
use second person:
"The first time you access your account, you will have to enter your....."
Or I make the subject plural:
"The first time users access their account, they will......"
