Maybe I missed something ... Could the confusion have been caused because
the CPU was made by AMD (Advanced Micro Devices)?
Could it also be possible that AMD put a logo on the fan (that sits on top
their CPU) ... one saying 'AMD'? Do I hear a Darwin Award being announced!
