If the doc is allone section, you can just copy
everything except the last paragraph mark into a new
doc, and save it with a new name to avoid confusing
Word any further. If the docv has section breaks, you
must move each section one at a time, copying
everything except the last para mark in the section.

It doesn't have to be page by page, unless every page
has a section break after it. Word hugs all the
corruption to the bosom of its final paragraph mark.

And then, as we all know, Word happens. ;)
