TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I was hoping the list could help me out. I came across an article
yesterday about "how to test your online help" it seemed like a basic
checklist of sorts, but as I was in the midst of searching on another
subject and I foolishly didn't bookmark this information. I was hoping
that someone might know of article related to this subject. I have gone
through the archives & the TECHWR-L site but didn't hit upon anything. I
did see an article at www.horton.com but this wasn't the one I recall
seeing yesterday (this isn't saying much though, I have a hard time
remembering my breakfast). I know this is rather a vague request but I
figured it was worth a try. (I receive the digest so please respond
directly to my e-mail.)
Thanks,
Shannon
