This is a question more for you medical/pharmaceutical folks, I think, but
anyone may chime in.

What sort of hourly pay rate/range is reasonable for a beginner to look for
or ask for? I want to sound like I know what I'm worth. An opportunity has
come about very quickly, so I don't have time to do the research I normally
would.

I may have an interview coming up for a medical editing/proofreading
contracting spot. This would be my first gig of this type. I'd be working
for a "let's get it done" kind of person.

The person who is recommending me for this position says the guy for whom
I'd be working probably won't bat an eye at $75 an hour.

Sincerely,

Craig Cardimon
