To paraphrase a former president, "It's the buzzwords, stupid!"
Resumes should be packed with buzzwords. Andrew should have been able to
find his writers right away. Sure, include RoboHelp and FrameMaker, even
Word, but also the kinds of things you've documented, whether it's a B2B Web
site or a Unix network administrator's utility. This is especially important
now that most companies have automated the first-level screening of resumes.
If a resume doesn't get past the buzzword check, it's into the circular file
with it.
