Fonts are not embedded properly. Ask the originator to try again. This is often the case when there are several different authors using different systems. Example: Win NT and 98 have same name / different metrics fonts.
I give distiller access to folders that contain all fonts in folders named:
Win2k, XP, NT4sp6, 95, 98.

Hi all,
I just received this message from a co-worker, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas about why this printing problem is happening. I assume it's a font-related issue with the printers being used, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Deb

Subject: Printing PDF Files
Hi,
Are all of our offices having problems printing PDFs on the Xerox 432ST printers? The problem is either symbols for text, the doc isn't printed entirely, and or you get an error attempting to print the doc.
I can print the same doc on 2 different Xerox printers and get 2 different results.
Anyone have any insight as to why this is happening? I was told by local MIS that this is a company wide problem. I opened a HELPDESK issue anyway.
Thanks
