Hey Bruce,I suppose if I were more hard-nosed, I might have tried to squeeze even more out of them, but I'm just not that way inclined. Besides, while a little negotiating can increase the respect in which you're held, to try for more when the other side has already exceeded the terms discussed is only likely to make you appear grasping.
Congratulations! Always works when you don't have to negotiate for the
things you THOUGHT you'd have to negotiate, doesn't it just?
Of course, if I didn't have other work lined up on the side, I might have been more inclined to negotiate regardless.
