Subject:pdfmaker Not Hyperlinking All From:Carol Gilbert <cgilbert -at- cal -dot- berkeley -dot- edu> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Sun, 20 Apr 2003 10:57:40 -0700
Another dilemma I am finding having come over to "The Dark Side," MS
Word from FrameMaker is that when I generate a PDF, my TOC retains its
hyperlinks, but my cross references to figures/tables and my index do
not. I am used to all of this linking correctly when I Distill the
PostScript file from FrameMaker. In Word, using the pdfmaker, I this
what I should expect or are there settings that I should be using to
make the hyperlinking happen?
Also, is there a way using TruType fonts to print to PostScript from
Word and then do a real Distill?
TIA, - Carol Gilbert
