Hmm. I was going to qualify my statement with something similar, but figured it
would complicate things...
IMO values should NEVER be imposed on others. The values of others should
however be protected. That is, you impose the value of "thou shalt not steal"
not because the value is itself important, but because the person being robbed
values their possessions.
Have to be VERY careful if you're going to get into the hazily defined areas of
justice, freedom, and honesty.....
This is now political and highly OT. So if anybody is really interested in
discussing this, please respond off-list.
